Why you are not losing weight despite all your best efforts!


Science has now proven beyond doubt that, mental or emotional stress causes biochemical changes in the brain, which triggers hormonal changes which signal the body to store more fat. This is because your body can only interpret stress as physical threat, and triggers stress hormones that lay down fat deposits as protection as a result.


So what happens is, when you have emotional stress or even depression caused by desperately trying to lose weight,  your body has a negative feedback response, which eventually leads to the accumulation of even more fat storage!

When I talk to people my first question is, "When did the weight start?". They may say oh as a teenager, after an illness, divorce or pregnancy ……


And it’s then my job to help you turn around all of the triggers in your life that cause you to overeat. Whatever it is, it’s there to remind you that you’re not truly caring and loving for yourself enough. So then with my help, when you do take that chance on yourself to make positive mental changes, everything falls into place. The weight loss can start to happen naturally; you don’t need comfort food anymore, and you will start to see food as a source of vital fuel that promotes health and vitality.

You will feel safer around food, more excited about life, you will have more energy, and you will not be looking to food as a source of escape.
